London Bound 2019…

Hunstanton Roundtable have traditionally had someone run the Marathon on behalf of The Norfolk Hospice, when I joined Roundtable I immediately put myself forward. What they do is simply amazing and to have the opportunity to run for them is fantastic for me.

I’m raising money for The Norfolk Hospice because they are committed to providing outstanding care for people in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses and to their carers, family and friends including bereavement support.

The support they provide is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.

Care is delivered at the Hospice’s purpose-built facility in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the Hospice. Care is also provided in people’s own homes.

The current services cost over £2million per year to run; the NHS funds only 35% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.

It’s a great cause, and your donation will help them achieve even more. Donating is easy, quick and secure.

Please share with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter – and elsewhere – so I can reach my target and together we can help The Norfolk Hospice provide even more care for people in the local community.

Thank you!

Want to Sponsor Us…

As you may be aware Round Table organise the Hunstanton Firework Display and the Christmas Swim, both of which raise many thousands of pounds, all of which is donated to good causes in the local area. We have also coming up for next year the Hunstanton Sunset Festival.

We have various sponsorship packages available all of which we believe offer an excellent opportunity for you to promote your business whilst also supporting local good causes.

We have:  Cliff top Fireworks

Christmas Day Swim

Sunset Festival

and Road Trip

On top of the packages all sponsors will also be promoted via our social media accounts and website as well as our dedicated Sunset Festival twitter and Facebook accounts and website.

As members of Round Table we give our time free of charge and EVERY penny we raise is donated. If you would like to know where we have donated recently then details can be found on our twitter or Facebook pages.

If you believe that a sponsorship package would be of interest to you then please contact me by email to contact@hunstantonroundtable.co.uk or to discuss your involvement in any of the events we hold throughout the year.

25th April 2018

As most of you will be aware we have supported The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House for the passed 9 years by nominating someone to run the London Marathon.

Last night we welcomed Glenn in to the ‘elite’ core of ‘heroes’ that have run the marathon. Welcome to the club Glenn.

Unfortunately 2 of our other members who’ve run the marathon couldn’t be in last nights updated marathon runners picture, Neil Wells and Dave Daly.

Looks like there’s a few boys keen to do next years marathon already, could there be more than 1 wanting to step up to the plate, you’ll have to watch this space…
